The seventeen level Cosmopolitan building is located in the most dynamic part of Edmonton bringing all of the conveniences of downtown living within walking distance of your front door. Each of the 120 suites have 8” thick concrete floors, walls, and ceilings for superior sound proofing and fire safety and self contained high efficiency forced air heating and air conditioning. All suites have balconies with natural gas barbeque hookups and excellent city views.
The construction of the Cosmopolitan building, originally named Grand Central Manor I, was completed in 2001 by True North Construction, a local builder specializing in high rise construction. True North Construction has built several high rise buildings in Edmonton including Grandin Manor (9741-110 street), The Legacy (10303-105 street), The Century (101 avenue & 104 street), and Grand Central Manor I, II, and III (103 avenue & 109 street). The Cosmopolitan building started as a rental property with plans to sell the units off as condominiums after a few years, which happened in 2004.
